Ana Paula has been a dedicated practitioner of East Asian Medicine since 2011. Her passion is rooted in her first personal experience with acupuncture. She was—and still is—in awe of this acupuncture’s capacity to manage mood, stress, and physical pain. (continued below)Ana Paula earned a Master’s degree from the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego and a Doctorate from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. She holds NCCAOM certification and is a licensed acupuncturist in RI, CA, PA.
Deeply experienced in providing community acupuncture, Ana Paula also has for the past four years specialized in helping professional and collegiate athletes optimize their recovery and performance through acupuncture. Her extensive training goes beyond sports medicine to include women’s health (fertility, pregnancy care, menopause). She is honored to practice this gentle and powerful people’s medicine of acupuncture. She is also happy to speak Portuguese or Spanish during your session.When she's away from the clinic, you can find her dancing, hiking, swimming, paddling, enjoying films, eagerly looking for a ceramics class or exploring the world with her family.
